Getting Metamask ready to work with EVMOS

Currently MetaMask is the only way to interact with Evmos smart contracts. Keplr wallet does not support Evmos smart contract interactions at the moment.

How to get started

Step 1: Install MetaMask

MetaMask is an easy to install browser plugin compatible with Chrome, Firefox, Brave and Edge.

To install MetaMask simply visit the official MetaMask Download website.

Step 2: Add Evmos Network

To add Evmos mainnet to your MetaMask:

• Open the MetaMask extension & login

• Click on the top right circle and then go to Settings -> Networks -> Add Network as shown below

• Fill the network fields with this information:

Mainnet

• Network Name: Evmos Mainnet

• New RPC URL: https://eth.bd.evmos.org:8545

• Chain ID: 9001

• Currency Symbol (optional): EVMOS

• Block Explorer URL (optional): https://evm.evmos.org
